When i play a pc game, my headphones go off and switches to laptop audio, what can i do to fix it?

this only happens when i play pc games, and when im on skype with friends i am playing with. it gets annoying and ruins the purpose when your playing late at night. if anyone has had this problem please let me know stat. thanks.

To fix sound problem in windows try this site it is very good...
