How to import video from iPad onto Windows Movie Maker?

Got an iPad 2. Made 2 videos and want to combine them on Windows Movie Maker. The Video is on my desktop and in the 'Videos' file. I press 'import media' on Movie maker but the video isn't in any of the files. ????
