Are all the Dell HD laptops glossy?

Which of these laptops are better?

  • I am looking for a laptop prised at about $700-$800 and saw these two laptops.I am wondering which one is better for what i am going to be using it for. I will be using it to watch youtube vids, check email, ect. I will also be using it to play moderate games such as mass effect 2, deus ex human revolution, skyrim. all will be single player. The newer titles can be run at lowest setting but older games such as oblivion, Mass effect 1, and borderlands would be run on high or medium. please help I have no idea which components are better so i can't compare them. one is DELL and one is HP here are the laptops. • Answer:

I would go with the dell, as it has the edge of having a better sound system and bigger hard drive. Second generation i5 processor doesn't hurt, either.

I am not a fan of Dell at one time they were good computers, but about 5-7 years ago they hit the skids, and I see more broke down cheaply made Dells than almost any other computer. about the only difference really is the i5 vs the i3 processor. Personally for a more stable reliable computer I would go with the HP 100% of the time, Unless you get an XPS Dell they are still ok then I might choose the Dell. But a 17R is a middle of the road Dell not the cheapo not the high end one so I would not buy it. Go with the HP.
