Why does my laptop charger keep falling out?

• My charger fits in just fine. I don't have to push or twist or anything for it to go in. In fact, two days ago it was working just fine, not falling out at all. But now, I can be not even near my computer and the charger just pops itself out. I just bought a new charger about two months ago for my computer after my old one finally died. My computer's almost two years old and a yesterday it slid off my nightstand onto the floor, well, not actually the floor but a really giant pillow I have sitting in front of the nightstand. I'm not sure but it might have fallen on the charger when it fell. What can I do to fix it? I can't afford to take it to the repair shop just yet and it's out of warranty so I can't take it back to the store for them to fix it either.
