Apple iPad 2 internet browsing question?

iPad can't play flash nor java so no internet games. They can write email but suck for typing alot. EDIT: If you jailbreak it then you can use flash but still not java.

Yes you can use it for Facbook, but some of the games, which are most on facebook, require java, which an iPad does not have. If you had the New iPad, then you would be able to later on in the future. You can do pretty much everything as a PC, like email, and everything else, just no java required games, like internet flash games. Also, if you are looking to chat and do a lot of typing, like on Pages by Apple, or just notes or email, than I suggest getting a Clamcase for iPad 2. I have one, and I type a LOT, and it helps. It is a suggestion, I am not saying it is a must-need for a tablet user looking forward to typing, but the onscreen keyboard, if you have had an iPad 2 for a while, gets pretty annoying. Finally, some apps for typing, other than notes, I suggest to you are Pages by Apple, it is pricey, but it is GREAT, and don't trust the microsoft Word ones yet, they have not fully released them. Another is Notes Plus, where you have a virtual notebook for a seperate subject, and you can use your finger or a stylus to write your own notes instead of typing. Hope you take in my suggestions and facts carefully to your liking.

You can use the iPad or iPad 2 for anything that a regular laptop would do. the only thing is if you want to play facebook games or go on online books if your in school you need to update your adobe flash player, and that shouldnt take long at all. I have a laptop and iPad and i have to say i use the iPad way more because its easier to hall around and i can use word and things like that cuz i downloaded the Parallels desktop on my computer and iPad its amazing how much technology is out there.
