How do I make the caps lock key a third shift key?

Why isn't my Shift and P not working?

  • Ok so when I try to make an uppercase p, I have to do Caps Lock and then p. My shift-p doesn't work, but if I do shift-a or something it does! I am a very fast typer and it annoys me to do the caps-lock and ect. It's a first world problem but I don't care. It's annoying and I just want to know how I can fix it! (I don't know if this helps you guys but I have a Macbook Pro) Thanks! :)

EDIT: Ooops. You said "Why isn't my Shift and P not working?" I thought you meant "my shift" and "my P". You mean the P is not working. Do this test.... -- Restart holding command S. -- Type the p and P. If no response to shift-P, the computer needs to be repaired. If the P works by itself, but not with shift, the computer "(I don't know if this helps you guys but I have a Macbook Pro)" Well, yeah! It helps immensely. If you had a Mac Mini or a Mac Pro or an iMac, you buy a new USB keyboard.
