Can anybody tell me where and how much i can pay for a cheap laptop for my 7 year old daughter?

I got my daughter a notebook laptop from toys r us for £179. One like that would be ideal for a 7 yr old or try ebay

Well personally for the quality and depending on where you get them and what kind it is HP Laptops are amazing. To be completely honest with you go on craigslist.com where you can find a nice new or used laptop for cheap. Like the other guy said a mini laptop would be good for a 7 year old but all mini's (unless you throw a lot of money into it) are slow.

For a seven year old, I would recommend a netbook. They are smaller than a laptop, have most of the same features (minus a CD drive, usually) and only cost around two or three hundred dollars. Toys R Us just started carrying Disney themed ones.

um idk but if u do get one make sure it has a lot of software thet will make it hard to crash becuz ur daughter is 7!!!!!!!!! she probably doesnt know anything about computers just make sure u get a no crash software on it befor she gets it ...........o and u can check on the internet preferrably ebay i think thats where i got mine

Why would you get a 7 year old a laptop? Let them use your pc, if you have one. Getting their own one is just plain spoiling them . It's ridiculous. Did your parents ever get you a laptop or by any means something very expensive when you were only 7?

Anywhere from $200.00 to $500.00 for really cheap laptops at tigerdirect.com and they are very stable although if you can wait until the end of October when Win 7 comes out you will be alot better off.
