Cheap laptops where to find one?

  • Okay, so i really need a laptop. but im on a budget. I work one to two days a week for 35$ a day. im looking for a laptop under $200 or $200. I need nothing fancy but it must be functional. your help is greatly appreciated can any of you tell me where to find one?

maybe your local Craigslist or eBay, you wont find a new one for that price. You might find something on Black Friday (if you want to stand in line) for around $300

There are numerous retailer who specialize in refurbishing ex government and corporate systems. This is probably your best bet. I have a warehouse full of Pentium 4 laptops and all sorts of hardware that I picked up from a VA hospital. I had to spend almost $100k on the equipment, but it has been a good investment for my company as a retail outlet. We got the equipment dirt cheap, and we are able to pass the savings on to our clients, massively undercutting most computer stores. We are certainly not the only ones who do this, and you shouldn't have too much difficulty finding a seller in your area.

Look on the Currys website or any laptop or computer website (type in google currys for the best laptops) Look in the "refurbished laptops" section. (If you dont find anything on the currys website type in "Refurbished laptops" in google.com) They arent $200, the cheapest are $250 - $300 - not to dear though! Refurbished laptops arent broken or used or anything. They are laptops which arent wanted - e.g i buy a laptop, i decide i dont like the colour of it, i take it back to the shop and they do computer tests on it to make sure its functioning properly still...they must pass all the tests to be sold into the refurbished section! so dont worry - it can be classed as second hand, but they havet been used before!! Then once they have been refurbished they are more than half price my sisters laptops was meant to be $1100, and it was $350! All laptops are great laptops too! Webcams, great memory, great sized, e.c.t - (top range ;) Goood luck with finding one! Hope i helped! xxx

Try ebay, or craigs list, or I can sell you an IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad T40 for $200.00 including shipping. For future refrence Thinkpads have the best support and they have the highest resale value..

craigslist.org that is the only place you will find a laptop for $200 or under, and it's not going to be new.

For 200 you are probably going to have to look at a pawn shop or on Ebay. If you can spare the extra 100, Wal-Mart has some for 300.
