What do I need In a laptop for a decent gaming computer?

Need some Computer Wizes to help spec find me a gaming laptop?

• I am comming into a bit of money. Im a tech student and getting my EMA backdated and so i am going to get around £330 and would like to get myself a little laptop. I also get some money for christmas so i recon my budget is going to be in and around £400 at a stretch i would say £430 but that is the limit. I would like something with around 2GHz Duo processing speed. Would also like 3 gigs of Ram but would settle for 2. Would like a harddrive of 250 gb but would settle for 160 as i can get an external one some other time. I no nothing about graphics this is the main problem. I have seen systems with everything i have asked for above for £400 easy. Most have had intergrated graphics cards which i have read makes your whole system run slowly. So if you guys could help me try and find a system that has the specs i require. Or at least point me in the right direction. I want to be able to play the latest games even if it is on the lowest graphics setting. Thanks in Advance,

  i would prefer using a 512MB graphics card, or better...the newest games has really deep detailed graphics...so, to be able to display them correctly, you need a fast graphics card...i would suggest you give ALIENWARE.COM a try...lil pricey but they make the best pre-built gaming laptops/desktops... FOR A SMALL BUDGET TRY: TIGERDIRECT.COM NEWEGG.COM just for the info: i can play COMMAND N' CONQUER 3 very well with a amd 64 bit 3800+ processor with 128MB graphics card then i purchased it for the XBOX 360 (i am a platform gamer, not much for pc) but it also has lower PS2 graphics, to play gears of war, bioshock, assassin's creed, call of duty 4, GTA IV, etc. you need nothing lower then 512MB, GOOD LUCK
