Free android apps and games from laptop to phone ?

  • i hooked up my android phone to the laptop with a usb cord . i dont have internet on my phone so im trying to get free apps and games from sites on the laptop . how do i download them to my phone , and what are some good websites with games and apps to put on my phone without having to use internet on my phone ?

  • Answer:

You need to search for "apk" files. These are specific files that will install onto your phone. So goto Google Play, and find the games you want. Do a google search and add "apk" to the search term. (Try and look for slightly older games which are available to download). Then download the apk files and transfer them to you phone memory. If you have a new phone then theres a good chance the apk can be installed via a directory navigator on your phone. ... otherwise you may have to download an apk installer... so it might be easier to download this via internet on your phone... they're small, so hopefully that's ok for you. Sometimes you need to enable the "Allow installation of non-Market applications" option. This is in settings > Applications > Unknown Sources If you want to find out about some of the newer games, then goto www.androidgamesreview.com and see if there's anything that picks your fancy.
