it depends what you're after in this case. If you want a laptop which can run complicated programs, like games or movies, go with the Gateway. If you need to run big programs, go with the Toshiba due to its good memory. And if you're stupid, go with the HP pavillion

HP...I have it. But i know they all come with Vista. You should buy the program for Windows XP, its just easier and has better programs. The HP is easy to use and easy to carry around...Is your name Carlos by any chance?

Dell makes the best products for the money. Before you buy a laptop you should really contact Dell. You may contact them on-line. By-the-way, the government uses Dell.

Gateway 15.4" Dual-Core Laptop w/ 3GB, 250GB, HDMI, Webcam I haven't had good luck with Toshiba. Hp is proprietary, you have buy their expensive memory. Never had a problem with my Gateway.
