How can i fix my webcam?

how can i fix my asus laptop webcam ? i got my laptop last year and it got a virus because i downloaded limewire , and i just recently got it fixed and i got everything deleted off my laptop and the man that fixed my laptop put a new webcam software called webcam max and when i got it back fixed the webcam was upside down [ my sisters laptop had a virus too so we took our laptops to get them fixed at the same time } and my sister webcam dint work at all! and then after about a 2 weeks of my webcam being upside down it just stopped working! i would like to know what to do so it can work again if i should re - install the software or if i should delete the software and get a new one. PLEASE HELLP , I MISS VIDEO CHATTINNG WITH FRIENDS :(
