In my HP dv2000, something went wrong while nVida driver update! without display winXP plays well. What to do?

sometime, shows like a TV (zzzzzzzy pictures), most time no display. I've tried with external monitor, same problem! even without display, I'm sure its working well. How do I recover display? Do I need replace BIOS? Is it possible? There is any method to restore BIOS? Please help me! Thanks in advance.

Answer:
I do not think the bios has any thing to do with it. You need to uninstall the drivers and software and reinstall them if that does not fix it you have a bad graphics chip...
