What is the best LAPTOP brand?

  • I heard that a Gateway is the worst brand you can buy, and I already have that laptop by that brand (I bought it before I heard that news) I am looking for a new one since mine is very old. What is the best laptop by the best brand? (I would prefer if it is colorful, prerferably pink or red) And since I am in photography we do a lot with Photoshop CS3, and this needs to be able to be on my laptop, therefore the laptop needs to hold a lot of money. Long story short, what is the best labtop by a good brand? (please, no Macs) Thanks

Mac would be the best for you. But Dell is the second best... Dell Inspiron Laptops come in a lot of great colors.. and the VAIO notebooks are amazing.

Well i would say get a compaq labtop. I have one and it helps alot. its affordable and its just an all aroumd great labtop.

Ok this is a little tricky. Most people would go ahead and say APPLE APPLE MAC MAC. But, you have to watch. In a lot of macs newer laptops they have what is called a TN panel for a screen. A TN panel is probably one of the worst panels you can get to accurately reproduce true color. So that makes the mac no better than any standard laptop, yet they are so expensive? I myself recommend the new Toshiba laptops with at least 2gb of ram. Toshibas are good quality. If you are really serious about photography a good idea would to be invest in a good desktop with a S-IPS monitor. About 99% of the laptops on the market have the TN screen so a laptop would not be the top choice for photography.
