Where can i burn dvds?

My laptop cd drive says "cd re-writable" and "DVD ROM". Can i burn dvds with it?

No, to burn DVDs you need a DVD Burner. You can purchase external ones, or replace the one already in your pc.

Sorry. Unless it says DVD-/+RW, it's only CDs. If you need to burn DVDs, try getting an external drive. They're faster than laptop drives and if you look around they're only about $40-$60. Usually computer stores sell them cheaper than electronics stores.

No the only way you can burn DVDs is your CD Drives should say "CD/DVD re-writable" if it just say CD Re-Writable it can only burn CD's like "Music, Data".

ROM stands for Read Only Memory. Which is what your computer recognizes a DVD as. You will have to purchase a DVD Read Write Drive to burn DVD's.

no it's a CD-RW/DVD combo drive it will read and write to CDs but only read DVDs you will need an external DVD writer to write DVDs
