Is there any way you can change you webcam settings on the new MSN?

Help with my Dell webcam?

• I have a Dell computer and i have been having trouble with my webcam. I recently posted a question and got the answer that i need to change the settings. However, i was told i need to go to messenger then preferences & i am unsure of how to do that. when i type it in the the start programs list i only get messenger email online and i don't think that is how i change settings. any help? thanks! Additional Details the webcam is an integrated webcam in my computer - i have a dell inspiron. the problem is i used to have an icon on my desktop to click and go to the webcam. however, over the summer my hard drive crashed and dell sent me a new one and now the icon is no longer there. when i go to device manager, it tells me the webcam is working fine and there are no updates i can install. when i asked the question how i can get the icon back, someone replied telling me that i need to go to messenger then preferences. like i said, i am unsure of how to do this. there is nothing wrong with the webcam - i just cannot open in from my desktop. device manager tells me it is working fine - i just need a way to get it to be an icon on my desktop so that i can open it and use it. if you have any other ideas on how to fix it, please let me know! thanks!!

  You can access the camera via a software program already installed on the computer. This program can be accessed right from the desktop screen. 1 Turn on your Dell Latitude and click on the "Start" tab on the main desktop screen. A list of options will appear in a drop-down window. 2 Click "Dell Webcam" from the list of options in the window 3 Click on "Dell Webcam Center" and the program will open. A capture window will appear on screen. Beneath the capture window will be a control panel. 4 Click on the camera icon to take a still photo. 5 Click on the "Record" button to record video with the webcam.
