Is it possible to connect my desktop's tower to my laptop for its video card?

i have an old windows xp tower in my room, and wondered if i could buy a new video card for the tower and hook the tower up to my laptop because im trying to play crysis 2 on my laptop but i need a better video card, and my laptop card is irreplaceable.

Answer:
No. You can often not use recent cards on old machines anyway, and you would need to run the card from the desktop. You can not run the display from one machine in to the other.
