you shoult have a <fn> button . try to press the <fn>+<print scr> at the same time. this might work. after that start "Paint" from start menu > accesories->paint and use <ctrl>+<v> at same time to paste the screen capture image into it. good luck

After you press print screen simply open an application like Paint or Word and press Edit>Paste then print or save to send etc.

Print screen doesn't actually print your screen. It copies it. You can go into a program like Microsoft picture editor and paste the picture. Then you can print it from there.

Print Screen doesn't send a print off you printer. When you hit the print screen button, what it does is copy your screen to the clip board which you can then paste into a document - or even place in a image editing program and manipulate. If you press alt + print screen, it will just capture the active window without the task bar and the rest of the desktop. This function is the easiest way to get screen captures if you were writing a manual or trying to show someone what's happening with your computer.

I've never been able to get that key to work on it's own. The only solution I've ever found is to have a separate piece of software that actuates that function. Here's my solution. Go to http://www.download.com and download and install a little FREE program called Gadwin PrintScreen. You can allow it to start at boot up or you can simply allow it to install an icon on your desktop and activate it only when you need it. Hope this helps.

If the print screen key is on the bottom of the key as you described then all you need to do is press that key then open up Paint or Word and press Control+V (or go the edit menu in whichever application you open and choose "paste"). When you hit the print screen key all it does is take and image of your screen. You then have to choose a program/application and (down) load the image taken by the PC. I'm not sure what your keyboard looks like but sometimes you need to hold down the fn (function) key and then press the print screen key. Hope this solves the problem.
