Answer:
1. To run Mac OS X you need a MAC. 2. Is Mac as user friendly as Windoze.... huh that's an interesting question. You question should be formulated the other way around. Mac is more user friendly than windoze will EVER be. You obviously have a learning curve, but OS X is built to make your life easier. Not harder. 3. Yes, all the main software for Windoze is made for Mac. IE: MS Office. If you can't find the software you're looking for, then there are alternatives just as good if not better. 4. If you're talking about software for windoze, and you have xp or vistuh, why not. 5. Most viruses are not made for Mac, there are some out there but so benign. You can get some antivirus software if you feel you need it like norton. 6. Yes, with Bootcamp running on Tiger or when Leopard comes out in October the functionality will be in the OS to partition the HD. 7. You can't remove the Mac OS off the computer to just run Windoze. 8. Compatible with what?? Most drivers for printers are already installed on Mac OS X. 9. Nope. It'll be easier to configure your Mac on a windoze network than it is to configure your PC on a windoze network. 10. Nope, it'll perform BETTER. Apple runs a Muiti-Billion dollar company on Macs, they must be doing something right.

1.No 2.Yes 3.I think so 4.I guess 5.macs don't get viruses 6.Yes 7.I don't know 8.Yes 9.Don;t think so 10.Yes "The new Intel-based Macs do definitely provide you with the best of both worlds, giving you the ability to run both Windows and Mac OS X as needed. The downside, of course, is that you have to spend more money when you go with the Mac — the Mac hardware already comes with a bit of a price premium (less than it used to be, but it’s still there last time I checked) but then there’s the cost of paying for a Windows license on top of that, and the cost of Parallels too, if you choose to run Windows in virutalization mode instead of running it natively using BootCamp. Plus, you have to top up your RAM to at least 1 GB—preferably 2 GB—in order to make Parallels run smoothly, as well as bumping up to a larger hard drive in order to have enough space to comfortably install the virtual hard drive file that stores your Windows install (5 to 9 gigabytes for a basic install of Windows!)."

1 you cannot install mac on a pc, but the opposite does work 2 i perfer windows but it depends on user 3 good luck finding any good usefull software and games 4 if it is mac compatible probaly 5 not really more than windows does. there are just far fewer mac users out there so the hackers only go after windows users 6 yes, but only if you are doing it on your mac. you can NOT install the mac os on a windows machine without doing some major hacking 7 i think you can. Because you have two partions, one for windows and one for the mac, so then you just delete the mac one and run only windows 8 apple will give you the drivers to run windows on the mac 9 It is still a computer so put protection on it 10 The windows application runs if you are running windows on a mac. And performance will vary depending on the machine. I would pick the windows machine because you can do so much more with it and its a lot cheaper, but its your choice

We have several of both, so I'll do my best to answer your questions. >>>1. Ca we install MAC on a pc which runs windows XP ? will the drivers support that hardware architecture ?<<< I don't think you can install the Mac OSes on a PC. >>>2. Will Mac be a user friendly like windows ?<<< Macs are much more user friendly that Windows. A friend of ours bought a Mac a couple years ago on our recommendation and she absolutely loves it. >>>3. Is that easy to get software for MAC ? <<< Yes, Microcenter, Fry's, and several other computer stores sell Mac software, and you can buy it online at several places. >>>4. Can we install cracked software in MAC ?<<< I don't know what cracked software is, so I can't answer that one. >>>5. Does MAC protect the system from Virus ?<<< Mac doesn't protect the system from viruses per se, but the viruses are written for Windows, and very, very few are written for Mac OS. >>>6. Can we dual boot the system with MAC & Windows Vista?<<< Macs can use a dual boot system, and they also have a virtual system that can run any and all Windows software. >>>7. If I'm not satisfied with MAC after purchasing it, can I remove the existing MAC OS to convert to Windows Vista?<<< That would be difficult since you don't run a Mac OS on a PC, you run it on a Mac unit. >>>8. Will the drivers provied by apple is compactable with windows or will I get it download on internet ?<<< Macs don't need drivers per se, they have the drivers for their system built in. Mac has ben "plug-n-play" for years. >>>9.Should I worry abt security & connecting to a new windows network with MAC ?<<< No, but the Mac might want to worry about what the PC network might give it <grin>. The Macs have little problem linking to a PC network, it's more the other way around.PCs tend to have problems linking to Macs. >>>10. Apple say Windows application can be run in MAC ! will it perform as good as windows.<<< Pretty much. Also, most software has Mac versions, so it isn't a problem.

go for windows as you have used windows and you are totally new to mac you will find it really difficult to use it and moreover you will have to look for support every time you need to do. go for mac only when you have someone who will be providing you support as and when required by you.

You should get a computer with Windows on it.
