Can I connect my PC to my TV with Four Pole to RCA A/V cable?

  • I'm trying to watch my laptop on a television that only has the RCA ins (red, yellow, white). I was wondering if I could use a camcorder cable that has the male four pole (headphone jack) end and RCA audio visual male ends on the other. Also is there a S-Video to Visual RCA cable out there. None of my TV's have an S-video in.

Can't get video out of the headphone jack on a laptop, to the best of my knowledge. Unless I am misunderstanding your intent. If you are talking about just audio from laptop to tv using that cable, it should work. Something like this should work for your other question: http://www.svideo.com/prosvideo6.html You can probably find them for about 3 bucks shipped on ebay.

I think what your looking for is a VGA cable which terminates with 3 or 4 RCA connectors. Such a cable is available and I recently purchased one from ebay to connect my dell laptop to my TV. The cable works perfectly fine and can be used both on desktops as well as laptops.
