Why will the volume on my Sony TV not increase?

Increase volume on sony vaio ??

hey .. i have a sony vaio laptop (vgn cr-35) ... its perfect except the volume ... specially on the headphones ... my real player volume and system volume bars are full still its nowhere near loud ... are there any external drivers or sound cards which i could download and increase my system volume ?? any help wud be appreciated ... thx ...

the only thing I have found to work are external speakers with a volume control that you can turn up or down separately from the computer volume!
