Which is better between MacBook Pro and the newest Sony Vaio SZ?

  • I want to buy a portable laptop which good for bussiness and gaming as well.I read that Vista isnt good as it's in promotion.Is MacBook Pro can run windows Vista?

    I don't buy from hypocrits, I got my Sony SZ and it spanks all. The SZ has two video cards, one and NVidia and the other the Intel. The Mac, just the intel. More games available for the PC. Mac, so so. So for gaming, go for the SZ. The only way I would go Mac is when Steve Jobs will finally get off his elitist butt and open OSX for PC's. I never did like the hardware, just liked the software. There are people who are running OSX for x86 just fine.

Go MAC! I used to be a die hard microsoft fan, but I switched to a MacBook Pro in September and I'm loving every minute of it. Honestly - every argument people use against macs (not enough software for them, etc.) has proven to be false. The MacBook Pro is a beast - the operating system is unreal, its so seamlessly merged with the hardware in a way Windows couldn't ever accomplish. Oh yeah, and it never crashes. Like... ever. A MacBook Pro can run any version of Windows and it does it quite well with a program called Parallels Desktop.

good question.....thats a tough choice between a Sony and a Mac but they are both excellent portable laptops and they both have good batterylife. but now since Vista has came out im more of a Mac fanboy now cause vista has abunch of problem and its difficult to find programs that will run on vista since its so new. no you cant run Vista on any Mac only XP. but if your doing bussiness then i say go Macbook Pro cause thats the bussiness computer but if you plan on doing any type of serious gaming then you would probably have to go windows but if i was you i would just get a MacBook Pro and if you want to do gaming just buy windows xp for it and you'll have the best of both worlds
