What wireless router should i go with?

I have two laptops and one is hooked up to my modem. what type of wireless router do i need to go wireless.?

    Any basic wireless (G) router should work fine. If the laptops do not have wireless capability built in you will need to buy a wireless (g) network adapter for them (comes in form of usb key, or pcmia card). I'd go with a linksys or netgear router.

Dlink, Netgear, Linksys, in that order (my opinion only) Any modern 802.11 b/g device should be okay for a basic home network, but if you have a few extra dollars to spend on your router go all out and get a nice 802.11 n type mimo router. This will vastly increase your range. Just the range, not the speed. If you want to do it on the cheap, I have found the Linksys wrt54g to be a reliable unit for about $50

first off do you have a dsl provider and their modem?? if yes get network adapters from overstock netgear and the brand X are good install the software, plug adapters into usb ports. look at all the networks in your range [150 feet of computer] setup your network, or piggyback on an open one until you finish setting up your network if you use airport express to send your signal throughout the house it will be so easy you might lol
