What is the difference between a Notebook and Laptop?

There is no difference at all, however you may be thinking of a netbook. Netbooks are considerably smaller and not as powerful as laptops, but they are a lot cheaper to buy and very portable. Perfect for someone who just wants to type word documents or to send emails/go online.

they are the same thing, however maybe you meant to say netbook. a netbook is smaller,has no dvd drive, and the processors and graphics for them are very much underpowered compared to a laptop. the important thing about al aptop is not to buy more then what you need. for instance, if all you need is a pentium,dont pay a couple hundred more for an i5. that being said, i am an amd guy, and with the launch of thier new processors this year( from the c-50 to the A8)overall the amd processors are better them intel. very few people need an i7(need,not want for gamin), for the most part people like engineers and architects.if you want to talk more, feel free to contact me.

Nothing. Two words for the same thing like "car" and "automobile". Netbooks on the other hand are low powered notebooks/laptops that still might be appropriate for real estate if small and portable are your key requirements.
