Is it better to have a mac or sony laptop?

Need help deciding on the best laptop. MAC, Alienware, Dell, Sony?

I currently have a macbook 2.16 core 2 duo pro, but really need windows since I am a computer science major. I've used bootcamp with windows, but it is too slow for me to get the job done. I see that leopard is supposed to have full support for windows in September or something, but I don't know if that will help with the speed. I have been looking at other laptops such as Dell, Sony, Acer, and Alienware, but am not sure which to get. I heard dell hardware and support stinks. Sony has stupid new keyboards, and acer doesn't sound familiar. I am really aiming at the Alienware Area-51® m5550. Can anybody help me with this. I need something really fast for computer science and reliable as well just like a mac would be.

Keep the Mac and get windows to run correctly on it. Every test I've ever seen shows Windows to run faster on a Mac then a PC.
