Is the Macbook pro 13 inch a good computer?

I'm 14, would a 13" MacBook Pro be good for me?

  • I am saving up for a MacBook Pro. At first I was interested in the 15 inch, but I only have like $980 right now, and I'm considering the 13" instead because I am only 14 and it will be a while before I have another $1000. So..is the 13" too small? I have a 15" Dell laptop right now, so I am not sure how much of a difference a 13" will be. I am not able to go to a store and test one out, I just wanted to go the easy route and ask those who have already used one. If I choose the 13" not only would I not be super duper poor, but I'd also get it faster because I'm not that far away. So, my general question is...is the 13" too small, and will it be hard to get used to because I'm using a 15" right now? Also is it a good computer overall? Thank you SO much in advance, I just want to ask around before I make a financial mistake or something...I'm too young for that! ;)

    I know for a fact the 13" MacBook Pro is a great and wonderful tool. I own one and so does my wife. I have a 15" Dell right now myself as well and going from the 15" to the 13" is not a big difference. The color resolution and the clarity of the MacBook Pro is amazing! I highly recommend it. Are you used to using a Mac Operating system? Overall the MacBook Pro is a good computer. There has been no limitations for my wife as a photographer, scholar (getting her masters degree in college), doing photo editing, basic word processing with the 2011 Microsoft Word program. I think there isn't much that a Mac will do that a pc can't do. Especially at such a young age a pc is enough.
