What's better, a PC or MAC?

Whats better a better laptop, Mac or PC?

  • i need to get a laptop for college next year and im not sure what i should get. i have never used a Mac before but i here good things about them.

    Compatibility problems between Mac and PC are less these days, but they are still there. Realize that most of your professors and friends will be using PC's. It's not a huge problem anymore, but something to consider. Beyond that, go into a PC store with a list of things you want to be able to do on your computer and find out which PC's will be able to do it and how much they are. Do the same in a Mac store. Then if you still have questions, come back and ask a specific question.

pc if you're a casual user. mac if you're really gonna get into huge programs like game design. also pc has the most support but mac may grow in that field.

pcs are better for gaming and such macs, my personal favorite, are probably better for school. they are almost impossible to get viruses on them, too. check with the school, they might want you to get a certian type. goodluck:)

PC's are more universal and easier to use in my opinon, but I really wouldnt care.

if you've never used a mac, pcs are the way to go. Trust me I've used a pc all my life and i tried to use a mac for something recently and i couldn't do anything, they are so much harder to use.

I would get PC (Linux if you know how to use it, there are hardly any viruses for them and its cheeper) I go aginst mac for 1 main reason-i hate them. I find that windows does it all in a much easier way (tho i have to admit that vista was a total let down, i'm still a proud XP user) and also windows stuff is more compatable with programs and files you may recive but the finial choice is up to you (i would go with PC!) =P
