How do I repair dead hard drives?

My ethernet plug isn't working as well as both disc drives. It is an older HP should I repair or replace ?

  • Answer:

Unless it is exceptionally new, which warranty may cover, or high end, I would possibly consider just letting it go.

Depends, you can fix all of that for maybe 40-50 euro's (55 to 65 dollars) but if it's an older computer, who knows what might break next? Oh, and those amounts are just the parts, if you can't replace them yourself, you'll have to pay someone to do it (or ask a friend/family member).
