Can you connect a early 2009 imac to a HDTV? and how? and with which port?

Answer:
some new HDTVs come with VGA and/or DVI ports. most come with HDMI ports. Does your imac have HDMI output? maybe you imac has a mini vga port (or whatever the heck it's called)? then you can use this: http://store.apple.com/us/product/M8639G/A#overview you will also need some sort of audio cable to connect the audio.
