Sony Vegas Pro 10.0 keeps freezing on my computer?
-
BEFORE I START DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT POSTING THAT REGISTRY EASY RUBBISH AS A SOLUTION. ITS TRASH LOL. Ok I know these types of questions require a lot of detail to figure out the solution so Im going to try my best to explain my problem to those of you who can help me. I basically used a keygen to get vegas pro 10.0 like a lot of other people and when i put forza motorsport 3 clips that i record using a Hauppauge HD PVR 1228 into vegas they lag which is normal but when I am placing clips on the timeline, or putting Audacity files into vegas, or positioning clips on the timeline or building a dynamic RAM preview (the pre-render thing), basicly whenever I do something like this Sony Vegas usually freezes at some point and then it says " not responding " and then I have to close the program and I lose everything. My computer also can say that it's low on memory when I'm using Vegas but when I check my free memory there seems to be plenty of it? I don't think its got anything to do with the fact that I used a Keygen to get it as I showed my cousin how to get Vegas Pro 10.0 for free the same way I did and although his clips lag he does'nt seem to have any problems with it freezing or crashing on him as he uses vegas to create Black Ops montages on youtube. I use a desktop with vegas and the processor is a Pentium(R) Dual Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz and its Vista 32bit operating system, RAM 2.00GB, System manufacturer is a Dell and the model is Inspiron 530, Sound card is a Realtek HD Audio Manager and I have a graphics card aswell with like 286MB I think. When i checked Vegas Pro 10.0s minimum requirements my desktop seemed to meet them so Vegas could'nt be freezing because my desktop doesn't meet the requirements as it obviously does? My cousin doesn't have this crashing problem and hes using a Laptop with only a Dual Core 2.00GHz processor however his operating system is windows 7. Could that be my problem? Vista 32bit cannot support Vegas Pro 10.0? IF I HAD WINDOWS 7 WOULD I HAVE THE CRASHING PROBLEM ANYWAY? I also was looking into a "HP Compaq Presario CQ56-110SA" Laptop as I was hoping a laptop windows 7 like this would not have the crashing problem with vegas like my deskop computer? I've tryed everything to sort it out by lowering the "Build up dynamic ram preview" then raising it, closing every other program, making the preview screen in vegas smaller, lowering it to draft, putting it in slow motion, someone then told me to put vegas into the "data execution prevention" thing in system settings and that done nothing either. IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME SORT OUT MY SONY VEGAS PRO 10.0 CRASHING PROBLEM I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. AND IF YOU COULD ALSO LET ME KNOW IF THE LAPTOP I NAMED IS CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING VEGAS AND IF NOT MAYBE YOU COULD DIRECT ME TO A REASONABLY PRICED LAPTOP THAT DOES SUPPORT IT. Thanks :D Lee.
