Why can't I play video on my phone?

My new video card cant play anything?

  • my new agp video card for an old computer cant play any game now. i recently upgraded form a nvidia 64 mb card to an asus a9550ge/td256m/a.the video card can play videos but not games and my pc runs slower than before what should i do? my configuratinos are amd athlon xp 1800+ 1.54ghz 765 ram the video card up there (asus) windows xp profesional

    A: more RAM B: that computer is so old I bet it has a teeny tiny power supply in it, which isn't big enough to support your computer with that video card in it, I know its a small card, but I still bet your power supply is too small. So what to do? Honestly I wouldn't spend another dime on that computer, but since you are still using that computer I assume you do not have a ton of money to spend on one...or, just don't want to spend the money on one... if that is the case, then do yourself a favor and buy this budget computer. I hate to tell you this but that computer is ancient now. It is unlikely any modern games would be able to run on that video card/system configuration. You should consider picking up a new computer. Sorry.

The bad news is - the 1st answerer is right. I'm a HUGE fan of rebuilding thrown out systems for people without them, and I'm finding P4 Hyperthreading 3Ghz CPU systems now. The only time I'll consider paying for them ($85 max) is if they're laptops. You'll need a barebones system running a 2.4Ghz P4 to play anything newer than Sims1, GTA Vice City, Warcraft III, Starcraft (original), Mechwarrior 3, and those aged games. G'Luck!!!. EPF : www.geeks.com has my favorite basic barebones @ 2.4Ghz for $45. (Samba PC desktop, + CHEAP RAM/etc upgrades). It can take a 2.8Ghz upgrade CPU, and Your WinXP and harddrive + CD/DVD rives. For about $100 You'll be 20x faster.
