Can I change the browser on my PSP?

If i change my browser on my desktop computer will it affect my tv, blu-ray player and roku's streaming abilty?

i only have one computer in my house. its a desktop running windows 7 and my current browser setting is internet explorer 9. i also have several video streaming devices such as a sharp tv,, a sony blu-ray player and a roku. the blu-ray player and the tv are hardwired to my router as is my desktop, but the roku streams wirelessly. i want to change my browser setting to google chrome because i think it,s a faster browser. my question is will doing this affect my other video streaming devices, or will the changes just be made to my desktop where i change my browser?
