First let give you the difference between 64bit and 32 bit. Assume 6 lane = 64 bit 2 lane = 32 bit There is a highway with 2 lanes and 6 lanes. 6 lanes holds good for 6 vehicles at a time where as 2 lane holds good only for 2 vehicles. In 6 lane more vehicles reach the destination when compared to 2 lanes in a given amount of time.. Theoretically, 64 bit computers can move four times as much data per time unit but in practice, there is not much difference. 64 can address more Ram but that only applies if you will do a lot of photo-shopping or rendering video. Video rendering is faster with 8G over 4G. 32 Bit OS's max at 4Gig of ram. Do check the speed of the ram. This makes a BIG difference. PC3200 has the speed in it... 3.2 GB/s. Today, they have ram that is more then three times faster. Max out the ram at 4 Gig if you get 32 bit. Heck, consider 4 Gig the minimum. Go quad core over dual core. Go for bigger on-board cache in the CPU. I'd look into doing an i5 CPU. The three computers are about the same clock speed so no comparison there.

Thats wrong Livia, 64 bit handles more RAM, 32 bit is limited to 4GB of RAM. I would upgrade your CPU to an i5 or i7, but thats only if your Motherboard can handle it. Which i would look into before you buy anything.

64 bit works fine for laptops, don't listen to the person above me. Upgrade to your 2nd choice with the X4.

32 is for laptops 64 for pcs
