What do I have to do to get my computer to output video from pci graphics card and onboard at the same time?

I recently fromat installed and replaced the graphics card on my machine. Now it will only output from the card and automatically disables the onboard ,which i dont want. I have 3 monitors and need onboard as well as the video card to use all three. I have a Gateway LX6200-01 Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit AMD Phenom 9500 Quadcore 2.2ghz 8gb ram Direct X 11

As far as I know, you cannot use onboard video and a video card simultaneously.
