How to view hidden files in windows XP pro sp2 ?

The thing is I know how to view the hidden files, that is we have to go to folder options in tools and select view hidden files, but the thing is I had installed windows xp sp2 and in that when i try to go to the tools, there are no folder options, only map network drive; disconnect network drive and synchronize comes, thats why i need help, i even tried installing windows xp pro from other person's cd, same thing happens

You can access the folder options through the control panel as well. You should give that a try.

Go into folder option in the control panel and click on "view" then check the bubble for "show hidden files and folders"

open my computer, on the top bar click view, go to folder options, click show hidden or system files.
