How do I install REALTEK HD Audio Manager?

Realtek HD audio Manager no Longer working...?

  • Okay. I just installed a new motherboard into my system and everything is running great. The new motherboard is an ECS 8200A. I installed another harddrive, and another Gig of RAM. For some reason, the HD audio manager no longer works. It doesn't show up in the taskbar on start-up. The weird thing is that it is still in the control panel. However, when I click it, nothing happens. Also, my Mic is no longer working. I plug the Mic in a the computer reads that it has been plugged in, but I can't record anything with it. I believe the two may be related somehow. I tried going and installing the latest drivers for the Realtek HD Audio Manager, but that didn't work. Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?

  • Answer:

You need to install the drivers for the Realtek HD Audio. It should be on a CD that came with the motherboard.
