How can i connect my computer to my tv?

I have a hp pavillon 8100n computer and i can't figure out how to connect it to my TV?

I can't find the s video output on my computer so that i can watch things from my computer on the TV, basicly so i can have a huge computer moniter. I want my computer on my TV not the other way around.

Your video card may not support it. If you can't find an S-Video output, then it probably doesn't. The only other way is to use VGA or DVI to TV adapter and you can use it on your TV. If you do connect it, you will need to configure it for TV output. If running windows XP, it will depend on your particular video card. Go to your desktop, Right click then Properties-->Settings Tab-->Advanced-->Then click on your video card tab-->from here if you have one, click on the button to take you to your control panel and configure it for duel output. This will enable you to output from both the VGA and S-video at the same time. On some machines, this is called Cloning too. Make sure the S-Video is plugged into your TV before you try to configure it so it can detect the TV when you mess with the settings.
