How do I know what video card is my motherboard capable of?

Im trying to build a gaming computer, but i dont know if the motherboard and video card are compatible...?

I have very little idea of what i am doing, however i think im going to go with this video card and this mother board. Are these compatible?! ASUS Socket 1366/Intel X58/Quad SLI & Quad CrossFireX/SATA3.0&USB3.0/A&GbE/ATX Motherboard s SABERTOOTH X58 Palit GeForce GTX 460 Sonic Graphics card - 1 GB - GDDR5 SDRAM Also, for building a gaming computer, on a bit of a budget, does anyone have any ideas for a good processor? i want to be able to play fallout 3 but i heard it takes a lot of computing power for max settings. Thank you!!

Very compatible, but drop the LGA1366 platform for a LGA1155 platform. The Sandy Bridge platform runs all over the LGA1366 platform... Try for a 2400, 2500, or the 2500k... Along with a AsRock Extreme3 Gen3 motherboard... You will actually be surprised that the price for the LGA1155 is going to be about the same price...
