Is this a good setup for a decent gaming computer?

I've never built a computer in my life and I have a few questions: - Is this a good setup for a gaming computer? (For games like MW2 and L4D) - How do I know all these pieces will work together? - Do I need to buy an internal CD/DVD drive if I have an external one? - Which is a better graphics card, Radeon HD 5450 or Geforce GT 220? Here's my setup: Case: LOGISYS Computer Area 51 CS51WBK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 480W Power Supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811148030 - $29.99 + $14.99 Shipping Motherboard: Foxconn A74ML-K AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 740G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard AMD 740G w/ Phenom II ready, Gb LAN & Win7 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186188 -$43.99 + $2.99 Hard Drive: Western Digital AV-GP WD7500AVDS 750GB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal AV Hard Drive -Bare Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136599 - $69.99 + $7.28 Shipping Processor: AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Processor ADX250OCGQBOX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103681 - $62.99 + $0.00 Free Shipping Processor Cooler: Rosewill RCX-Z1 Long life ball bearing for over 45,000/hrs CPU Cooler http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835200014&cm_re=cpu_cooler-_-35-200-014-_-Product - $14.99 + $2.99 Shipping Ram/Memory: Kingston ValueRAM 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model KVR1066D3N7K2/2G http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134492 - $49.99 + $1.99 Shipping Video Card: SAPPHIRE 100292DDR3L Radeon HD 5450 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150486&cm_re=Radeon_HD_5450-_-14-150-486-_-Product%5C - $59.99 + $5.99 Shipping or Video Card: ZOTAC ZT-20203-10L GeForce GT 220 1GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500130&cm_re=NVIDIA_GT_220-_-14-500-130-_-Product - $69.99 + $6.98 Shipping

Answer:
dont buy after market cooling for a dual core, just use the stock one that comes with the processor, its sorta unnecessary for just a dual core. However, take that money and use it to buy at least 4 gb of ram. After that id say its a beast. PS your motherboard has been deactivated (what it said when i entered the link). Anyways get the GT 220 also :D
