Why tv turner does not work good as my friend pc?

  • my problem is sound control and remote control. we bought LG PC and a windvr tv turner it worked fine with it and i have no problem. but two year back i bought new computer and put my tv turner card in it and found that sound control was not in tv software and i have to use my realtek sound card or window volume control. To check that my tv turner is working properly put it in my friend PC and there it work problem no sound control problem in tv software So I look at his(865GVBMSR2-P) and mine(946GZM3) motherboard specification and found agp Compatible and PCI-Express X16 this is my problem or there is other reason because problem is somewhere there and what cd in means on motherbord thanks

    try uninstalling the sound driver software, uninstall the TV tuner software, reboot the PC and load the tuner software first, reboot, then load the drivers for the sound chip and see if that makes a difference.
