What are good PC games?

What is a good PC build to run Most games on almost all high settings with a decent frame rate?

• I am clueless when it comes to PC building. I want to make a PC that can run a lot of games at very high settings because I want it to be worth the switch from consoles. I have no clue about parts that go into a PC because I have never made one before. I just got into PC gaming and want it to be a good experience. Minimal lag while running games at high graphics settings. I predominantly play shooters in general. Please help I am hopeless.
