I just got a new Gateway laptop with window's vista in February and for some reason my recycle bin gone?

At first I thought I did somethink to delete it but then under my husband's name his recycle bin shortly dissappeared too. We have done everything to try to locate it such as search and so on but have not been sucessful. It is eating up our memory to not be able to empty our recycle bins so any help would be great. Thank you.

You mean it's gone from the Desktop? If so, right click on the start button, click on explore and look for it towards the bottom of the list.

use system restore to bring computer back to when it had recyle bins sounds like a virus try running windows defender to see what it finds also run your anti virus.

because as of right now vista still has bugs that can mess ur computer up i still prefer windows xp prof

Atleast you have VISTA till now. Just Joking. Vista is new and it will be usable may be after one and a half year with a lot of patches & upgrades. Than Vista service pack 2 may come otherwise only god can help vista user.
