Answer:
It usually means that bit of hardware needs a device driver. That would be located usually on a disk that came with your computer. Or if that device was bought seperately it would have came with that.

it means the driver for it isn't installed. Double click on it and then Click on DRIVER then Click on Update Driver

That normally means a driver issue. My guess is that you dont have USB 2.0 drivers, but have USB 1.0 This is still another Windows pain in the neck. You see, you can not easily get USB 2.0 drivers without download XP SP2. And, SP2 has Windows Genuine Disadvantage Tool (ok, MS calls it the advantage tool, but I call it like it is). The bottom line is you need to quit putting up with Microsoft BS of wanting you to buy a new Windows CD each time you sneeze. To do that, go to www.kubuntu.org and get a free open source operating system and no more Windows pain in necks.

According to me it means that ur computer's system bus is not correctly installed. Do on thing - if u know the manufacturer of your computer's mother board then check their website for the driver of the particular windows or any other operating system that u have installed. Drivers for win2000 and all xp versions are same. If u have any querry then reply me.
