How to convert movies from VCD discs to DVD discs?

How do i convert files from mininova.org to burn them onto discs dvd/cds?

i have been downloading albums and movies from mininova .org but when i put it on the dvd player it comes up root format how do i convert them so i can watch them or is there any good sites to download movies and albums that will go straight onto the cd/dvd to watch or listen to someone please help me im getting frustrated

You could always download a cracked (illegal) copy of "branded" software or you could try the erightsoft.net link below for a FREE converter of just about anything. The sourceforge.net link will get you "Burn" a free burner which will convert and burn with no problems. Very highly thought of.
