Answer:
The reason the computer gets slow is due to the registry files becoming corrupted, or messed up, in simple terms. These files tell the computer or laptop how to operate the software installed on the system. If any of these files get messed up, the computer is not sure what to do and this will really slow down the computer. The other scenario is where you download other software, screensavers, pictures, videos, or even music, and this will somehow change the settings on a registry file. When this happens, the original program that needs that file now has the wrong instructions in it. So, it will cause the computer to run slow, or in a worse case, crash. You can speed up your computer with a thorough analysis and repair of your registry. The registry Scan will identify corrupt files, paths, and registry keys causing your computer to have errors and run slow.Go to http://www.registry-bot.com to download registry bot.It is the most advanced and comprehensive registry repair product on the market. It will speed up your computer and make windows startup faster. http://www.registry-bot.com free download Registry Bot.

Music can't slow down your computer directly, unless you're playing music in the background. The 2.77 GB of space left is a bit on the low side. The computer needs space to temporarily hold files (e.g., swapping files from memory to hard disk, which is the swap file). But in this case, any excess file can be at fault, such as a program that was installed but is never used. Pretend you're a blind person in the library, and you brought someone to read for you. The books on the shelf (music) will not bother the reader as he reads you a book. Now, if you take the book out and open it, and have your friend read both books at the same time, he'll slow down. Thus, as long as you're not accessing the music, it's not affecting the processor. There is something else going on. If not a virus, it can be spyware, or even simply a cluttering of the windows registry. Oh, and the 192 MB ram is definitely the problem. With so few ram, the computer really needs the swap file on the hard drive. Windows needs much more than 192 MB. I'd recommend 2 GB of ram at the most, and 1 GB ram at the least. The swap file is like a note pad you use when you're trying to remember too many things at once. If you improve your memory, you won't have to write in the note pad as often.

No, you need to scan it for adware, spyware and viruses and then clean your registery. Something is slowing it down and it ain't the music. Good luck to you both.

No, if you have over 5% free space it wont really matter! Your problems is the RAM - you want to have 512 or 256 at least! RAM is a dime a dozen nowadays - try and get a 256MB stick from a friend or buy it at a store for like <$20 :D

Its the limited amount of space you have left on the hard disk and the limited (tiny) amount of memory you have on the computer. 7 gigs is a heckofa lot of music! But you are not going to significantly speed the computer up with 7 extra free gigs. You need to kick that memory up there, at least 2 gigs and get yourself a much larger hard disk, a secondary or an external disk, to hold your music. You need to keep the main hard disk as free as possible of data or you risk crashing the hard disk. 51-1/2 gigs is a TINY hard disk these days. Your computer must be 4 - 6 years old. They stopped making 40's and 50's way back 4 - 5 years ago. Its not uncommon now to have 500 - 1000 gig hard disks and up to 4 gigs of RAM memory.

it doesnt matter what it is, if your computer has that little of space left it will be a lot slower. your ram is also very low which is causing it to be slow. what you should do is take our your ram, see have fast it is (MHZ) and get another stick of ram of the same size and same speed, (make sure you check whether its DDR or DDR2 because you will need to get the same kind) and if you just put that into the empty slot next to your ram it will make it faster.

Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some regsitry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow". Everytime you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Regisry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically! Your computer is old. You could probably speed it up a lot just by buying some new RAM. It isn't your music that's slowing down the computer, it's that your computer is just a piece of crap.
