Is it possible to buy a flat screen tv without a tuner?

I'm buying a flat screen and a computer. Should i buy a tv/monitor or a computer with a tv tuner?

i know the tv tuner computer gives you dvr capability, but you have to always have your cpu on. or should i just go with an lcd tv that doubles as a monitor?

with a quickness. can you tell the diff between 5 and 8 ms. me either. 2 birds dead on one flat pannel. and clear? yep xfx nvidia 7600gt is sooo clear on my 32in. pannel. normal monitors are normal gameing @ 800x600 res. i am at 1366x768 in 720p hdtv signal format . its your cash but i went with the 700$ monitor/tv and the 200 now 165$ graphic card. see ya down range.

lcd tvs are generally much lower res, so I'd got for a proper computer monitor and a TV tuner card.

Actually, using a TV lcd monitor as a PC screen isnt going to produce anywhere near the clarity you would see on a PC monitor! If your goal here is killing 2 birds, your best bet is to buy the PC monitor and PC with a TV tuner!
