well Maxility, it actually depends on your intended budget and your current PSU. Before getting a new GPU, you must first consider the following: 1. current PSU capacity 2. Check if your Mobo has an available PCIE x 16 slot (which most probably it has at least one available slot) 3. Before buying a new GPU, make sure that it would fit inside your casing because there are GPU's that are quite long like for example the GTX 560 is usually 9 inches long. so here are my suggestions: since your cpu (I3-2100) is very decent and can be paired up even with a powerful GPU, then I would give you these suggestions: 1. HD 6770 - can play games on mid settings and some on high settings, you need at least a 500w branded PSU for this card (good brands are corsair enthusiast series, seasonic, antec or OCZ): XFX HD-677X-ZNLC Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - $110 ($100 after rebate) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150540 2. HD 6850 - play games on high settings and some on max settings, 600w brtanded PSU is ideal for this card: SAPPHIRE 100315L Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity - $135 ($120 after rebate) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102908 3. HD 6870 - play games on high-max settings, 600w branded PSU is also enough: SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - $170 ($160 after rebate) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948 4. GTX 560 ti - the lowest card that can play BF3 on ultra settings on 1080p with ave FPS of 31.8, ideally, needs also at least 600w branded PSU: MSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr II/OC GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - $235 ($205 after rebate) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127565 BF3 benchmarks of different GPU's: http://bf3nation.com/2011/10/battlefield-3-graphic-card-benchmarks-from-580570-gtx-to-radeon-hd-69706900/

since Battlefield 3 is such a demanding game, At the very least I would look at a Radeon 6770 or a Nvidia GTX 550ti. Go higher if you can afford it. If you have a major name brand PC, you probably have a stock 300w power supply. You have 2 options. You could buy a Radeon 6670 because it sips power and will work with a 300w power supply. However, you would have to turn the settings down in your games. If you want a better settings then you will need a good 500w to 600w name brand 80plus Bronze power supply to power a card like the 6770 or GTX 550ti. Corsair, XFX, NZXT, and Antec have good power supplies. At the minimum I would suggest the 6770 or GTX 550ti. For better settings I would recommend a 6870 or GTX 560.

Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950
