How do I fix Cydia's problem with refreshing?

How do fix this problem on my computer!?

  • I recently had some friends over and they went to a site to download some video... but the file seemed to be something else, or actually, nothing at all. But now my computer keeps on saying that I have a security problem on my computer and it keeps popping up some fake scans off the internet. And tells me to get this type of anti-virus. This is very annoying, and I also just got a new anti-virus yesterday, it's Trend Micro Internet Security Pro, and with it, I ran several scans, but none seemed to fix the problem that windows keeps telling me that I have a security problem and tells me to fix it. I also still get pop-ups. Is there any way to get rid of this problem?

yip you've been a victim of a scam .... download this http://www.superantispyware.com/ let it update reboot into safe mode and run it.... (you might need to run it a few times to get completely rid) (keep your mates away from your pc and NEVER click on ANYTHING that wants to install on your pc)

it sounds like either antivirusXP2008 or 2009. Possible smitfraud-c. Either way get SpybotS&D version 1.6 by downloading it from the internet and update it then run it. It is capable of removing both. you can get it from here. http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-amp-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html?cdlPid=10861988

Victor, does this happen only with your Internet Explorer on or anytime? It might just be your browser. If that's the case your best bet is to reset to default. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset. You might want to restore the advanced settings as well. If that doesn't work I'd download search and destroy or spyware. For future use I suggest you download sanboxie (google it) and have your friends run through that while using your computer. That will insure whatever they do on the net will not affect your system.

Here is where you go : MSNSearch > type in: Stalin Hornsby> follow page down to "Friend" Ati 200 decoder for DFi motherboards: open. Next go through to th RL6000 Trunk Data Quarantine ; download the four pieces (genuine Beta Microsoft) put these four components into a folder and go to your Programs Files to find Virus RL6000. Put the file into the green dot zone and place everything from the thunk data into the NTPQ59t folder. Done.

You had better reinstall the operating system.

Sounds like a spyware infection, try spyware doctor.

Mr.PainTrain

Maybe resetting your internet would make all this go away. I'd give it a try.
