How do you fix a DLL problem?

Onstartup my computer says mfc71.dll not responding try to reinstall may fix problem what do i do?

    While installing the operating system the manufacturer of the your computer runs the Operating System Software which installs a whole bunch of libraries and files. MFC(Microsoft Foundation Classes)71.dll is one such kind of library which contains some important files needed to run the operating system. If the Windows Install CD came with your computer then run it. It will install the operating system a fresh and it will install all the dll's needed for the system. Copy all the important files to a CD or transfer them to an on line server and run software a fresh means new application. If choose advanced which normally recommended it will install from the point where you left means saving all the files and folders. This most of the time does not serve the purpose.
