Will flight simulator work on my pc?

HELP BUILDING PC FOR FLIGHT SIMULATOR USING GEFORCE GTX 580 GRAPHICS CARD?

• So im building a pc to play flight simulator and from the answers i have gotten already i was suggested this website for graphics cards http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_e… and told the geforce gtx 580 would work but it costs over £400 for the 3GB so what do you think of the 1.5GB version would this be sufficant enough my budget was £1200 or around $1900, what motherbored do i need to support that graphics card or is there like a 3GB cheaper graphics card like an older 1 that would support it better i do not need to buy a screen so all the money is just for a pc also would sli work with FSX i heard it wont, the idea i had was the best cpu to overclock to about 4GHZ and 6gig of ddr3 1600MHZ i was thinking of sli but im unsure if it would work thanks guys.

  2500k if you are buying new... All you have to do to overclock the 2500k to 4.0Ghz is increase the multiplier to x40, 4.2Ghz increase it to x42... I am using an AsRock Extreme3 Gen3 which is still an expensive motherboard @ $130 American dollars, but the best you can get for that price, and supports SLI or crossfire... Go with 2 sticks of 4Gb, if you are looking for more than 4Gb total ram... The 3 stick kits are for triple channel only, and will not necessarily work with dual channel motherboards, as far as in dual channel mode... The 580GTX 1.5Gb version is very good... You really only need the 3Gb version for things like CAD and higher end video editing applications... 3Gb for SLI on 3 monitors running 2500x1600 each, would be also another reason for the 3Gb cards, but that would push your monitor budget to $1000 by themselves... Actually for a single monitor running 1920x1080, a 570GTX would max it out...
